School Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC) 2025-2026

Wellesley SEPAC has a representative on the WPS School Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC). Massachusetts law requires that each district to establish a SWAC made up of school staff and community representatives to:

  • Recommend and review school-wide wellness policies; and
  • Help implement school district policies related to nutrition, physical education, physical activity, and student health.

The SWAC typically meets at least four times per year.
